GUIDED TOUR
Date: Tuesday, October 3rd

Multi-sensory tour for people with visual impairments at the Our Lord in the Attic Museum.

In the Amsterdam city center, you can find a rare well-preserved canal house from the 17th century. Narrow corridors and stairs lead to historically furnished living spaces, kitchens, and sleeping alcoves, culminating on the top floor where a hidden house church is located.

In addition to historical information, this tour emphasizes the sensory experience: the scents in the house and the church, the footsteps on the stairs, creaking floors, and the sound of footsteps in the marble corridors. At various points in the museum, the museum educator encourages people to explore the space and specific objects with their hands.
