Junior school

Our programmes for junior school pupils focus on civics and relate to themes such as home, feasts and religion. How did people live in the 17th century and how do you live today? What kind of festivals do you celebrate? What are the differences and the similarities between the world’s major religions? In our programmes we concentrate on the pupils’ own experiences and encourage their curiosity.

Living in the 17th century

In this tour, the museum teacher leads the pupils along narrow stairs, historical rooms and centuries-old kitchens to the hidden church in the attic. On the way, we talk about what we see in the various rooms and spaces. What do we notice? What are the differences between life then and now? Are there similarities? And why was the church hidden? There is a lots to explore in this unique historical house!
