Wallen Open Dagen

‘Life in the 17th century’

In 1663 Petrus Parmentier lived at number 28 in the Heintje Hoekssteeg. He was the first priest of the hidden Catholic house church in the attic of the adjoining canal house. The Alley House is now part of the Our Lord in the Attic Museum. During the Wallen Open Dagen (Open House Redlight District) we open the side entrance to the living quarters of Petrus Parmentier so you can get (free) a glimps of how he used to live there. This is a unique opportunity to get to know the story of this Amsterdammer of yesteryear.

The side entrance will open on saturday the 25th if June from 12.00 till 18.00 hour and sunday the 26th of juni from 13.00 till 18.00 hour.
