Lecture (in Dutch) on the forgotten beer taproom in Our Lord in the Attic Museum
The museum is best known for its hidden church in the attic. Three centuries ago, however, visitors also came for a beer taproom (then known as a momkamer) on the ground floor.
During archaeological research in 2013, a large cesspit was excavated. The thousands of finds shed new light on this forgotten establishment. Discover this hidden (Dutch spoken) story, accompanied by a drink, in the lecture* by archaeologist Ranjith Jayasena.
*Admission to the lecture is free. Once full, entry is closed.
