‘Take the whole family in search of Sinterklaas’s (Saint Nicholas) secrets in the atmospheric house with the church in the attic’

Come with the whole family to Our Lord in the Attic Museum this festive season. The attic church is at its most beautiful and there is plenty to do for young and old.

St. Nicholas guided tour

For children aged 4 to 8

Experience a magical morning in Our Lord in the Attic Museum! On Sunday 24 and Saturday 30 November from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. there is a special Saint Nicholas tour for families.

Take the whole family in search of the secrets of Saint Nicholas in the atmospheric house with the church in the attic, of which Saint Nicholas is the patron saint. During the treasure hunt, we will sing songs, make beautiful colouring pictures, snack on gingernuts, drink chocolate milk and put your shoe by the stove. Who knows, you might find a surprise in your shoe at the end!

Prefer to investigate by yourself? Then get the Saint Scavenger Hunt at the entrance desk and explore the museum on your own. The treasure hunt is free (in combination with entrance ticket).

Feast! audio guide

For children aged 10 – 12

For children aged 10 to 12, there is a special version of the Feest!-audiotour. With this audio tour, they learn all about the background to the upcoming festive season. Where does St Nicholas come from? And what do we celebrate at Christmas? Occasionally, they get a special ‘festive question’ with which points can be earned. At the end of the audio tour, all children receive a diploma with their score.

During these weeks, the museum is dedicated to Saint Nicholas. Special collection pieces have therefore been set up in the hideaway church especially for this occasion.
