Visitors to our carefully preserved and restored historical monument are requested to consider certain basic rules. Please note the terms and conditions before starting your visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have a set of rules to ensure that your visit to Our Lord in the Attic Museum is pleasant and safe:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liability<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You visit the museum at your own risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Footwear, walkingsticks and umbrellas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Stiletto heels, walkingsticks with a sharp point and umbrellas are not permitted due to possible damage to the original 17th century floors and objects in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bags and suitcases<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Big bags (larger than A4-format) and\/or backpacks are not alowed in the monument. You must use our (free of charge) lockers to leave your bags behind. Here is also a (unsupervised) cloakroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artworks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Artworks may not be touched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loss or theft<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Our Lord in the Attic Museum cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to private property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Items that may cause risk to the safety of other visitors, staff, artworks or the buildings are not allowed in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instructions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Instructions of museum staff should be obeyed at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denial of entry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry to the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuisance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Please show consideration for the other visitors; limit or avoid making disturbing sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photography<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Photos may be taken without flash and videos may be filmed without additional lighting. In some temporary exhibitions certain items may not be photographed or filmed: where that applies this is indicated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food and\/or drinks in the museum<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Due to the delicate historical setting, food and drinks are not allowed in the museum. Water bottles are likewise not permitted in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phones<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Please do not make phone calls in the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional house rules for groups and schools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Guides<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Only guides of Our Lord in the Attic Museum are authorised to give tours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibility<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The class teacher or the group\u2019s accompanying person is responsible for the course of the visit and for the conduct of the pupils \/ participants. For every twelve pupils \/ participants at least one accompanying person should be present, and remain with the group throughout the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supervision<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The teacher \/ accompanying person should ensure that pupils \/ participants do not cause a nuisance or disturb other visitors. Making too much noise or running around in the museum should be avoided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting point<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If the group is divided into small clusters, agree in advance a time to end the visit and a place to meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing and drawing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If pupils \/ participants are assigned to answer questions on paper or to make drawings, use writing pads. These are available at the museum ticket desk. Don\u2019t rest on the tables, showcases or walls to write or make a drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Touching artworks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The objects in the museum are mostly ‘real’ and unique. It is not allowed to touch the artworks and objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
